At the heart of MACH 1 is VPER (Volumetric Photonic Environmental Remediation) technology: a sealed photonic reactor that uses a diffuse, multi-pass light field to drive non-thermal oxidative reactions. NHS site live testing

In live NHS clinical testing, MACH achieved a verified 52% reduction in airborne microbial load across active ward environments — significantly outperforming the 10–30% reductions typically associated with conventional HEPA, UV, PCO and ionisation technologies. In enclosed clinical rooms, reductions of up to 88% were delivered, reducing airborne microbial burden to near-sterile levels.

Axion Ultra Range air care

Compact wall, ceiling or portable air and surface hygiene units for homes, offices, washrooms and smaller enclosed spaces — where MACH 1 is built for industrial and clinical-scale environments.

The Ultra Range combines dual-waveband germicidal UV with photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) over a titanium dioxide catalyst, producing short-lived hydroxyl radicals and superoxide ions that break down volatile organic compounds and cluster airborne particles down to 0.001 microns. It runs continuously, 24/7, with no filters to change.
